This soap — while I thought wouldn’t lather all too well — lathers better than any other soap you’ll find and gets you cleaner than all of them too! The subtle vanilla scent is something that never gets old. The beef tallow and honey are nourishing to the skin and don’t leave you dry or ashy. I bought a 5 pack first and then the 10 pack moments after it was released — that’s how much I love this soap!

Tallow Soap

I was born an old soul. Making matters worse, I’m now an actual old soul (cranky, belligerent & stuck in my ways). I rarely try new items, and am fiercely brand loyal. My first VanMan foray was the lip balm; then tooth powder, then balm. Each time, I pondered over the eventual purchase. . . “It won’t be special.”, “Why change brands?”, “Screw it, I’ll try it”. And every time I’ve been blown away by how vastly superior VM’s products are. . . Then came the soap offering - “Tallow bar soap?! It’ll be a mushy mess!”, to yet again, “Screw it, I’ll try it”.

This stuff is mind blowing. It hold firm, cleans great, rinses off very easily (even with my super-soft water softener water), and has a positive effect on my entire body. Big Chemical bar soap required me to massage it forever to get enough of it to make an attempt to clean, This tallow bar only needs for me to flirt with it to get enough to get clean. As with every VM product, a little goes a long way.

I’m now to the point that if VM offers tallow spaghetti & meatballs, I’m gonna order it posthaste.
